At Fire Up! Food Truck Festival, we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to help those who have one of the 43 neuromuscular diseases including multiple forms of Muscular Dystrophy. We welcome you to join our philanthropic endeavors aimed at making the world a better place. Please come out and enjoy the live music, amazing food, and refreshing drinks for our community event.
Who We Are and What We Do
The Buffalo Grove Professional Firefighters Local 3177 has been one of the leading organizations in Illinois to raise money for MDA. Since 2010, IAFF Local 3177 has raised over $150,000 for this amazing organization. The money we have collected has directly impacted local families within our community.
How We Help
Your Buffalo Grove Professional Firefighters strive to raise the most money possible for the Muscular Dystrophy Association by hosting innovative collections throughout the year. With your generous donation, Local 3177 members can support MDA's mission to relentlessly pursue their promise to free families from the life-threatening effects of muscular dystrophy and muscle-debilitating diseases today.
About MDA
MDA is the largest source of funding for neuromuscular disease research outside the federal government and has committed more than $1 billion in funding since its inception in 1950. MDA uses every dollar raised wisely to ensure it has the greatest impact in the fight to end muscular dystrophy. Currently, MDA is supporting 150 research projects worldwide and hosting nearly 50,000 visits for kids and adults at MDA Care Centers. Additionally, your donations allows nearly 3,800 kids to enjoy the best week of their year at MDA Summer Camps

Fire Up! Attractions
The inaugural Fire Up! Food Truck Festival is a community event where everyone is welcome. Come out and enjoy live music from Focal Point, a cover band performing hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today. Or, ease the summer heat with a refreshing beer from Prairie Krafts Brewery in our exclusive beer garden. We also have endless fun for those little ones in our Fire Up! Kids Zone. We will also have our fire trucks on display for the whole family.
